Speedy West Custom D-10

Front, back and necks are walnut with decorative wood inlay.

Probably the first or second guitar made for Speedy West by Marlen. Serial number 270823.

Top deck is birdseye maple. Endplate has a single row of pedal tuner screws for each neck.

Picture shows how RKL knee lever attaches to pedal 8.

Shrink tubing on rods dampens undercarriage noise.

The primitive pull-release changer does not permit a string to be both raised and lowered.
